Barcode Labels

Zebra - Direct Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels for Zebra desktop printers are made of high quality coated material to extend print head life and reduce maintenance cost. The heat-sensitive barcode labels are die cut with mitered corners on a 1” core. These high quality barcode labels maximize print quality to ensure a good read. Direct thermal labels do not require the use of ribbons and are ideal for shipping labels, address labels, or other applications where short label life is acceptable. Direct sunlight and high heat accelerate the degradation of direct thermal labels.

Zebra - Thermal Transfer Labels

Thermal Transfer labels for Zebra desktop printers require a ribbon to produce an image on the label. Our barcode labels are made from high quality bright white material; die cut with mitered corners on a 1” core with an outside diameter of 4 to 5 inches. Thermal transfer labels require the use of ribbon and are ideal for product labels, shelf labels, asset labels or other applications where label life needs to be extended.

Datamax / Sato - Direct Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels for Datamax, Intermec, Sato and other higher volume industrial barcode printers are made of high quality coated material to extend print head life and reduce maintenance cost. The heat-sensitive barcode labels are die cut with mitered corners on a 3” core with an outside diameter of 7 to 8 inches. Direct thermal labels do not require the use of ribbons and are ideal for larger volumes of shipping labels, address labels, or other applications where short label life is acceptable. Direct sunlight and high heat accelerate the degradation of direct thermal labels.

Barcode Ribbons

Thermal Transfer Ribbons

Only Thermal transfer labels require a ribbon for printing.  Available ribbons come in all lengths and core sizes.  You can choose from a wax ribbon, resin ribbon or a combination of both wax and resin.  Wax ribbons are formulated for high-quality printing on both coated and uncoated paper labels/tags.  Wax/resin ribbons are formulated to offer high-quality, durable barcodes, text, and graphics on coated paper and synthetic labels/tags.  Resin ribbons provide exceptional solvent resistance for the harshest environments for both coated paper and synthetic labels/tags.

ID Card Printer Supplies

Color Ribbons - Multi-Panel

Multi-panel ribbons are developed with the newest technology in dyes available. These ribbons use dye-sublimation, which means the color dye is vaporized into a gaseous state and then diffused onto the cards at the printhead station.  Prolong card life with Zebra’s patented overlay (“O panel”) in the ribbons, which protects your card against dye migration and abrasions. TrueColours® ribbons are also designed to help extend the life your Zebra card printer with a unique silicone-based coating that minimizes printhead debris. Ribbons without this coating allow particulate buildup on the printhead, which may decrease the life of this critical printer part.

Color Ribbons - Single Panel

For consistent high-quality output from your plastic card printers, you can use monochrome print ribbons. These ribbons deliver sharp monochrome bar codes and text. Monochrome resin ribbons are available in a variety of colors including black, red, green, blue, gold, silver, white and scratch-off gray. Monochrome resin ribbons use “thermal transfer” printing technology, a process by which a heated printhead is used to transfer a digitized image from the ribbon to the surface of the card.

Cleaning Supplies and Miscellaneous

We offer a variety of cleaning supplies that will assist in maintaining proper card printer performance. Cleaning supplies will keep your ID card printer clean and will increase the life of important parts, including printheads, transport rollers and magnetic encoders. Routine cleaning will product better quality, full color ID cards and extend the life of your Zebra card printer.

PVC ID Cards

Our premier quality PVC ID cards are made to provide outstanding image sharpness and vivid colors to ensure maximum card printer performance. PVC cards are available in 20 and 30 mil thickness, are ISO compliant, dust free with smooth edges. Our plastic ID cards can also be ordered with Hi-Co or Lo-Co Mag Stripe. Premier quality PVC ID cards are ideal for applications requiring durability such as transit passes, visitor badges, identification and loyalty cards.

PVC Composite ID Cards

PVC Composite Cards provide high image quality & flexibility with temperature durability. They are available with or without a magnetic stripe in LoCo or HiCo. These cards are stronger because they are made up of a polyester core and sandwiched with PVC.  These cards are used in application environments that are uncontrolled and require high usage such as time and attendance, access, control, equipment check-out, and multi-application university ID cards. Composite ID cards are high durability cards made with a 40% Polyester core & glossy PVC top & bottom. These cards are suitable for any application where a high breakage rate occurs.

Smart Cards

An embedded microchip within the card layers that allows for large amounts of data storage and management. Chip is protected by a contact “plate” available in gold or silver. Smart cards can improve the security and privacy of patient information and is a quickly growing application in digital identification cards. Smart cards have a chip embedded in them which can be programmed. Smart cards can store over 100 times more information than a magnetic stripe and they can be reprogrammed to add, delete or rearrange data. The second type of smart card contains both a microprocessor and memory. These cards can store massive amounts of information, plus the microprocessor enables the card to make its own decisions regarding the information stored. Both types of chips can be addressed by Zebra card printers since they all offer an optional smart card contact station. The printer brings the card into the contact station and then passes programming signals from an external programmer to encode the smart chip.  For more advanced security and technology, Smart Cards can also be contactless. These cards utilize various short and long range RFID technologies to write and read.

Security Featured Cards

Start with a high-quality Zebra plastic card containing your choice of preprinted security features and built-in security materials. Using Zebra’s Security class on-demand card printers, encode magnetic stripes, radio frequency identification tags for proximity cards, or smart chips for data security in smart cards, plus print variable text and vibrant ID photos. For higher card security and durability, add laminates embedded with additional overt, covert and forensic features.

Embedded Hologram Cards

PVC & PVC Composite cards with a tamper-resistant hologram embedded within the layers of the card for an added low-cost security feature. The hologram is part of the background of the white card enabling printing to be applied directly on top of the hologram. Lamination may also be applied if required. The hologram incorporates both visible and ultraviolet printing of a pattern or logo. This security feature prevents the hologram image from being reproduced with photography or photocopying.

Color Shifting Ink Cards

PVC & PVC Composite cards with a specified image of colorshifting inks formulated to change from one color to another. This feature is part of the inner layer of the card and cannot be scratched, or removed.

Opacity Mark Cards

PVC cards with a tamper-resistant printed image within the layers of the card for an added low-cost security feature. Image acts as a watermark, only visible when held directly in front of a bright light source. The image can be of any color or image. This security feature prevents the image from being reproduced with photography or photocopying.
