If you will be using the Bar
Tender with one or more thermal printers supported by Seagull, be sure to visit the
appropriate
Windows printer
drivers page when you are done downloading the Bar Tender demo.
To download one or more Seagull Printer Drivers, exit this page when done downloading the Bar Tender and visit the appropriate Windows Printer Driver page. The Trial Edition of the 32-bit Bar Tender functions just like the
full-working Professional Integrator Edition for 30 days. This should give you a
good chance to decide whether or not the Bar Tender is right for you. If you still
aren't sure after those 30 days, you can still work with the Bar Tender, but in a
slightly limited "demo mode" that randomly changes one character in each bar
code or text field that you print. For example, if you were going to print out a text
field that said "ABCD", it might print out as "ABXD" instead.
(Once you buy the full-working Bar Tender, it will load and print any label designs
created with the Trial Edition.)

| Both the 16 and 32-bit
versions of the Bar Tender are fully ODBC compliant. This lets the Bar Tender use
ODBC drivers from Microsoft and other software companies to read label data in from almost
any database or spreadsheet. In fact, we have a license to include Microsoft's ODBC
drivers with purchased copies of the Bar Tender. However, we are not permitted to just
give those drivers away and therefore can't offer them on this page with the Bar Tender.
Fortunately, if you already own the Microsoft "Office" suite, or just any of the
applications it contains, you already own the same Microsoft driver pack we include with
purchased copies of the Bar Tender. (And, don't forget, ODBC drivers are available from
other sources as well.) Click here for more information about integrating Bar Tender with Other Applications. Users of Windows 95, 98 or NT (version 4.0 or higher): Please
download the 32-bit version of the Bar Tender. The Multi-lingual version allows
instant switching between French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, English,
Japanese and two versions of Chinese, but it takes about twice as long to download. |
